2010 Arthur F. Warren Memorial Youth Scholarship

PURPOSE: This scholarship has been implemented with the intention of aiding a student who meets the eligibility requirements and is planning to attend an institution of higher learning. The scholarship is applicable towards tuition, books, room and board, etc.

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: This is a $1000.00 non-renewable scholarship.

ELIGIBILITY:
The applicant must be a graduation senior residing in Lake County and must
be a member of a Lake County 4-H organization or a member of the Lake
County Junior Fairboard.

APPLICATION PROCESS: Please ensure the following items are included.
     1. The completed application
     2. An official school transcript including the most recent grade reporting period
     3. Proof of admission to an institution of higher learning as a full-time student
     4. An essay summarizing school nd community activities and worthiness
     5. A high school reference
     6. A community reference

DUE DATE: Applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2010. The scholarship winner will be announced on April 15, 2010.

JUDGING: The decision of the Scholarship Committee Judges will be final.

AWARD: The award will be payable after the first term of study upon receipt of an official copy of a grade transcript from the school showing a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

SCHOLARSHIP WINNER MUST RIDE IN THE LAKE COUNTY FAIR PARADE ON AUGUST 17, 2010.
