2019 Ohio Fairs Queen Lora Current to be Parade Grand Marshal
Lora Current from Champaign County is the 2019 Ohio Fairs Queen. Lora was crowned queen January 5th as winner of the Ohio Fairs Queen Contest. She was selected from seventy-eight (78) county and independent fair contestants from across the state.
Lora is the daughter of Chad and Dana Current. She has been involved in fairs since she was 14 years of age and has shown swine, steers, sheep, poultry, llamas and other non-livestock projects.
She is an early graduate of Troy (Ohio) Christian High School. She currently attends Mount Vernon Nazarene University where she studies Social Work and Theology. She is a pole vaulter for the university and works for the local elementary school. In her spare time, she enjoys working with her four brothers and their animals and loves her time in a hammock with an enjoyable book.
Lora will be the Grand Marshal of the 2019 Lake County Fair parade scheduled for opening day of the fair on July 23rd. Please give Lora a warm Lake County welcome as she participates in this year’s parade.
