Mike Peplowski
Lake County Fair Hall of Fame
Mike Peplowski has been elected to the Lake County Fair Hall of Fame by the Fair Board. He will be inducted on July 22nd, the opening night of the 2025 Fair.
Mike has played an integral role to the Lake County Fair and Fairgrounds for over 20 years as a Fair Board Director representing Madison. Mike may be best known for his role as the Gates and Tickets Supervisor, a position he has held for many years. To those in the know, this position and its responsibilities are paramount to the success of each fair. In this role, Mike is the “go to guy” for hundreds of volunteers that staff the gates, sell tickets and handle thousands of dollars over the course of the six-day fair.
In addition to his role as Gates and Tickets Supervisor, Mike has been a very active and dedicated fair board member. Over more than two decades, he has served on many committees including: Budget and Finance, Concessions, Entertainment, Grounds, Long Range Planning, Parking-Transportation, Safety-First aid, Rentals, Technology and others.
Mike is a strong contributor to any committee he is assigned to and agrees to serve on. He is considered a deep thinker and his professional career background shows-through in everything he does. He is an integral part of the Finance and Budget Committee and provides strong leadership to the budgeting process each year where he is looked to, to use his technology expertise.
For these reasons and more, Mike is a strong candidate for the Hall of Fame. He can proudly and strongly stand in line with other members of the Hall of Fame.
